**The North Sea Coast Cycle Path in the Altes Land vacation region on the Elbe**

**Getting there**Leave the A7 at the Hamburg-Waltershof exit and take Finkenwerder Straße in the direction of Finkenwerder. Turn right onto Aue-Hauptdeich and follow the road to the traffic circle. Take the second exit (Benittstraße), which leads to the ferry terminal.

Between the Lühe jetty and Bassenfleth, the path runs along so-called driftwood clearing paths. These are part of the dyke system and are primarily used for flood protection.
