Sturmbude

It was built from 100-year-old tree trunks, which alone stood in the mudflats for 40 years for the marina in Hooksiel, and with its tasteful interior of rustic, refined wooden furniture made from old scaffolding planks and the 360° panoramic view over the entire Wangermeer, the Sturmbude is currently still a real insider tip.

The Sturmbude with its sun terrace and sun loungers offers a unique view for every connoisseur and the sunsets are particularly noteworthy at this location, which whet the appetite for life and the next day with a glass of wine or a cold beer. In return, our guests are welcome to stay longer. Even during hurricanes or heavy rain, it is an attraction to experience the weather in this atmosphere. On sunny and warm days, the windows are simply rolled up and a pleasant sea breeze flows through the Sturmbude - whether small snacks, currywurst & chips, pizza, cool drinks, great coffee specialties and apple pie or other delicacies, everyone will feel comfortable and enjoy themselves here. The Sturmbude is also the hub for all activities in the entire Buhl Activity Park on the Wangermeer. Here you can get all the information and equipment for the great activities such as soccer golf, blobbing, land sailing, SUP and e-skating. The Sturmbude BBQ or whole suckling pig are already coveted culinary highlights. Especially for company celebrations, birthdays or other occasions of any kind, the Sturmbude is a location that cannot be found a second time. It is available all year round, even outside normal opening hours, and can also be booked exclusively. The Sturmbude is a smoke-free zone, which means we can always guarantee a good atmosphere and fresh air. We also look forward to welcoming our guests' four-legged companions, who are always welcome.
