Aussichtsturm Balksee

The naturally grown moorland lake is the core area of the "Balksee und Randmoore" nature reserve. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a white-tailed eagle.

The observation tower can be reached on foot or by bike from the parking lot (approx. 150 m from the parking lot). The tables and benches set up in the tower invite you to enjoy a snack. Parts of the nature reserve are accessible by bike and on foot via the cycle and hiking trail in Wingst Süderbusch.

The lake itself is only accessible to anglers with a fishing license.
