During the season, stationary water rescue service by ZWrDK.
During the season, the local DLRG Wangerland e.V. group supports the lifeguard service on the beaches of Horumersiel and Schillig with a crew on the MRB Willi Roosenboom. At the bathing area in Schillig lido, the DLRG lifeguards ensure the safety of bathers.
The bathing time starts 2 hours before and ends 2 hours after high tide.
