Stand-up paddleboarding—this recreational sport is currently taking Germany and the whole world by storm. And Stade is right at the forefront: The SUP Club Stade offers activities for participants on the moat surrounding Stade’s old town and on the Schwinge River.
Stand-up paddleboarding lets you explore cities and natural landscapes from a whole new perspective. It’s like taking a walk or going for a jog on the water. The boards resemble surfboards, but they’re particularly long and stable. You can stand comfortably on the SUP board and glide gracefully across the water with a long paddle. Currently the fastest-growing water sport, it’s very easy to learn and works every muscle in your body. SUP is fun for people of all fitness levels and appeals to paddlers of all ages.
