Let the Wadden Sea ambassadors take you away and immerse yourself in the world of seals, avocets and plaice. The beauty of the Wadden Sea is presented on a huge projection screen in visually stunning film footage. Marvel at the size of the sperm whale skeleton or walk dry-footed through the lifelike replica of the salt marshes, which give the impression of being in the midst of this diverse plant and bird life.
You want to know exactly how high and low tides work?  You will find out at the interactive tide stations and the question will finally be answered: Why does the water go away in between?
New, often introduced animal and plant species can be discovered on a large touch screen in the virtual Wadden Sea. The info points offer you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge about seals, fish and salt marsh inhabitants.
At the end of your tour of the Wadden Sea habitat, you will learn about the fascinating world of migratory birds and can test your knowledge directly in the 1, 2 or 3 game.
You can become a researcher yourself and discover the treasures from the past hidden in the Wadden Sea or take a close look at the beauty of the smallest inhabitants of the Wadden Sea with a microscope.
Current environmental problems, such as marine pollution and climate change with its consequences, are also addressed in this exhibition and make clear the need for action on the part of every individual.
 
After the exciting Wadden Sea excursion, the cafeteria invites you to linger, naturally with a view of the sperm whale.
