Experienced mudflat guide Theodor Köhne will accompany you on this exciting tour—for young and old alike—through our North German Wadden Sea. From Tettens, the tour heads toward Langlütjen II, an artificial mudflat island in the North Sea. On the island, you’ll find the remains of former naval forts that once served to protect the harbors of Bremen and Bremerhaven.
On the way there, you can use dip nets and shovels to search for hidden clams and crabs.

- The mudflat hikes take place in July and August. The dates for the mudflat hikes are set in May by the mudflat guide, Mr. Köhne, and are then added by us to the events calendar on our website. From then on, the mudflat hikes to Langlütjen II can be booked online or in person at the tourist information offices in Burhave and Tossens.
