930 kilometres of boundless freedom along the German North Sea coast - that's the North Sea Cycle Route.
The North Sea Cycle Route is the longest cycle route in the world and runs for around 7,000 kilometres through a total of nine countries - and always with a view of the sea.

The German section of the route stretches along the coast through Lower Saxony via Hamburg to Schleswig-Holstein and the Danish border. Past coastal landscapes, marshlands, along meadows and fields, through nature reserves and forests, the route leads through a landscape that is characterised above all by its diverse nature. The maritime character of the cycle tour is particularly striking - maritime cutter harbours, historic lighthouses, dyke landscapes and the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site characterise the North Sea Cycle Route. However, the route also leads inland in some places, where urban life, the Altes Land with its magnificent orchards or sections along rivers such as the Ems and Elbe lead you inland again and again.

Always with a fresh breeze around your nose, you will get to know and love the North Sea coast and North German culture from a completely new perspective from the saddle.
