- The town of Otterndorf charges a visitor’s fee year-round. Day visitors 18 years of age and older pay this fee upon entering the beach or the See Achtern Diek recreational area to the visitor service staff at Nordseebad Otterndorf. Vacationers pay the fee directly to their landlord. Residents of the Land Hadeln joint municipality are exempt from the fee.
Jan. 1 – Apr. 30: €2.50 per day
May 1 – Sept. 15: €3.00 per day
Sept. 16 – Dec. 31: €2.50 per day
