A landmark of the traditional working-class district of Bant

The Banter church was consecrated in 1900 and was severely damaged 44 years later during an air raid in the Second World War. Reconstruction lasted until 1953. The church has always been a landmark of the traditional working-class district of Bant.

The Banter church was one of the first in the Oldenburg region to be opened daily and reliably.
