From aboard the frog-green ship, guests can experience the unique tidal landscape of the Lower Elbe up close. From May through October, a variety of themed tours are offered with expert guides, departing from Stade, Wischhafen, Gauensiek, and the Elbe island of Krautsand; registration is required through the Stade Tourist Information Office.
The Tidenkieker is operated by the Association for the Promotion of Nature Experiences (Verein zur Förderung von Naturerlebnissen e. V.).

Der Stader Hafen liegt am Rande der historischen Altstadt von Stade. Von der A26 der Ausschilderung Richtung Innenstadt folgen.
