"The church was built in the mid-13th century as a single-nave brick structure with an eastern apse. In the flat-ceilinged interior, the carved pews (some dating from 1655) deserve special attention. The altarpiece features figures of Christ and the four Evangelists, carved by the sculptor Larßen around 1910. The oldest piece of church furnishings is the octagonal, oak-carved baptismal stand from 1648, which stands on the base of a Romanesque baptismal font.
