Windmühle am Schiffertor in Stade
In the 1990s, the mill was converted into a youth research center and is now a branch of the Vincent-Lübeck-Gymnasium for the "Jugend forscht" program. As part of this project, it was given new wings and a new gallery. Some of the mill’s machinery is still in place, although the grinding mechanism is missing. The wind rose is fully functional. Visitors can tour the exterior of the mill.

Die Schiffertorsmühle liegt am Rande der historischen Altstadt von Stade. Von der A26 der Ausschilderung Richtung Innenstadt folgen.

Der kostenpflichtige Parkplatz am STADEUM liegt ca. 300 m von der Mühle entfernt.
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Die Bushaltestelle Stadeum liegt etwa 300 m von der Schiffertorsmühle entfernt. Von dort fährt die Linie 2001 Richtung Hagen bei Stade und Haddorf. Author
