The former merchant's house and warehouse on the West Waterfront now hosts rotating exhibitions featuring works by renowned artists such as August Macke and Hannah Höch.

The Kunsthaus Stade is located right on the old harbor in the Hanseatic city of Stade. Housed in a historic half-timbered building dating from 1667, it has been attracting art lovers from the Hamburg metropolitan area for years with its rotating exhibitions. The three-story building features alternating exhibitions of classical modernism and contemporary art.

A guided tour of the exhibition is offered on Sundays at 3:00 p.m.
